Ozgemini Dyno Results Thread

Post by gemi_coupe »

I couldn't find a similar thread so I thought it would be a good idea for people to post up their dyno results.

This way, anybody interested can see actual results of different motor applications.

I personally would like to see what results people are pulling with different combinations of induction, engines etc.

Dyno sheets (or screen shots) or other forms of proof are preferred! Cheers :D

EDIT:

To post pictures of dyno sheets, the printout will need to be scanned to your computer or be photographed with a digital camera.

Once saved onto your computer, you can host it online by following Gene's instructions here:

My stock 4zc1 turbo with a Microtech LT4 made 102rwkw (136rwhp) on 9psi boost with no intercooler with inlet temps at 90 degrees. I have the Dyno sheet but to dumb to post it up.

s*#t thats hot!!! My temps didn't get over 24 degrees. Mind you i was running a cooler, but still that was on a hot day too.

Would those temps be bad for your engine? :?

Yeah it wasn't ideal it was a hot day (yes we get those in hobart) we had to put a heap of fuel n and take some timing out but it was tuned to suit those conditions. It now has a cooler on it and I'm lucky if I see inlet temps over 20 degrees. I'm getting another tune shortly I'll be interested to see what it makes this time wit the cooler and an XF throttle body.

heres my old yellow SLE coupe. ran a 1970's RAJAY 304B suck through turbo, 45 DCOE weber carb, G161Z bored out 120 thou with my secret squirrel pistons, kelford 25/65, ported head by myself, 4ZD1 ex valves, G180 import efi manifold, piazza exh manifold with a 90 degree adapter to turbo, 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust system, 32mm air research wastegate, 15 psi boost, no water injection etc, car made awesome power from 3500 to 7200 rpm, did 13.5 sec quarters, 350km from 42 litres. built the whole car including original purchase price roadworthy items etc for the grand total of $4000

i just recently bought the turbo/carb/wastegate setup back from the guy i sold the car to, and will be building another SLE later this year but with 1.85 litres of capacity this time, see if i can crack the high 12's with this one....

The bodgy shop i went to had a broken printer.

but a bog standard g161 with a blow through carb (xe 34adm weber) with a garrett t25 locked dizzy at 15deg 5psi boost intercooled and leaning out as soon as boost hit.

I got 98.8hp.

Sorry no pic.

New jets in now i will go for a new run soon with more timing and turn up the boost if leaning out issue gone.

plus a a shop with a freaking printer that works!
