Valve clearance, what is the spec for a G200W?
Read the engine thread for twin cam and it has every conceivable measurement except valve clearance for inlet and exhaust.
I have my inlets in and have 3 to 4 thou on the inlets. I am guessing that is too tight. If so, can anyone advise on a source for replacement shims?

0.13 on inlet, .23 on exhaust - this is according to both the factory 117 Isuzu Coupe engine manual AND the ZZ/R FIA Homologation documents. Shims heaps of places can make them up for you, apparently quite similar to the Ford Lotus DOHC. Given your up in QLD give Tighe Cams a call, he should be able to help.
Or you could try this bloke; he was who Crow Cams recommended i get the shims through, apparently can make anything you need up.

Hi mate, just answering your PM question about the head studs
(since PM's take f*#cking months to send for some reason)
Yeah they are actually Honda S2000 F20C head studs.
ARP 208-4702
They fit really well & you can torque them down to
95lb/s. These where the closest fit to the std head bolts.
The only thing is you have to run a tap to the very bottom
of the stud hole in the block. It will tap out about another
2 turns until it bottoms out. This gets the stud thread sitting
just bellow the deck of the block.
