After years of running the Gem far too low, and with heavier swaybars, the floorpan where the rear swaybar mounts to now has a split 270 degress around.
Pretty damn bad, take the rear seat out and I can see through the floor
The thing is the two mounting plates welded to the floor from factory both have raised edges. I was going to weld a piece of 4mm plate on the inside under the rear seat but the 2 bolts and the high edges prevent the plate from sitting flush on the fllorpan.
Anyone else almost torn the swaybar and mount off the floor, if so how did ya fix it?
Todd.
