Can this 4zd1 crank be repaired???
Yep do not happy, thrust washer has fallen out and worn the crank, is this repairable???

Hard to say without seeing/measuring. May be as simple as machining it up to the next size thrust washer. Technically you can get it welded and machined but cost goes up pretty quickly doing it that way

Got a quote for repair... it's possible but much cheaper to look for another crank., its annoying because the block was in prefect condition.
Looking to see if an E1 crank can be fitted to the D1 block, from my calculations the E1 will only bring up the capacity by 100cc to 2350cc. as the stroke is only 3mm longer.

5mm more stroke, and whilst it's only a 125cc increase, the increased stroke helps in other ways.

You need a few other things though to make it work
For my d1 with e1 head and e1 crank, I needed to use the timing gear from the e1 too
