Havn't heard the sub, but the Type S speakers are great. They really pump for the $$. I was going to go with the Type S 3-way splits before I stumbled across Fusion Powerplant.

From my experience, fusion is expensive for what you get. After working in auto retail My opinion is they are not much better then US audio. Pretty avarage.

i only have speakers and they seem pretty top quality, it also comes down to what your driving it with too.

my first experience with a decent sound system was alpine type r subs in a sooby sedan, i dead set had trouble breathing and seeing out the windscreen my vision was so blurry. it was to that stupid ella umbrella song too, obviously a remix haha

Anything Type R is excellent, But yeh what they are driven by is often a bigger factor.

I had Type s 2 way coax's a while ago running off a 90rms x 4 amp and they sounded pretty damn good, just watch your volume if you aren't running a hi pass filter.

I sat in a show car with 2 Fusion Powerplant 12" subs and they were flawless, which is what made up my mind.

Anything alpine is good. But anything is actually good depending how it is tuned, if the Hertz and gain is up too loud things tend to sound s*#t, also you take the chance of blowing either your amp or subs up.

I have had all sorts of subs and amps before, But so far the best I have heard have been the Polk Audio. Worth spending the money on that gear.

I have to agree with the polk subs being the best subs I've heard as well, a guy I knew a few years ago was going overseas and I got 2 of these for $10!
