Post by Frederick Stienheld »

As you can see the forum software has been upgraded!

There will no doubt be features with errors etc. that we will have to fix up as they become known.
Please post in this thread or in thh web site suggestions forum and I'll get on to them.

Thanks guys!

With this standard template there is no link between the tech and non tech forums. This will be fixed when our custom template is loaded but for now you can go to http://www.ozgemini.com and use the links there or use these links below:

So... how much like it used to is going to look? I'm not a big fan of this avatars down the right-hand side business.

The people who bitched and moaned aren't in this thread right now. Personally, I didn't care either way if the forum software was upgraded or not, but I did like the old layout better than other forums running the new gear.

The forum layout will be going back to being similar to what is was before.
I was planning to do it last night but it got too late. Hopefully I'll have it done tonight or tomorrow night :)

Take your time mate, better to do it right over a few days rather than rush it and cause issues.
PM sent.
How about adding a coupe of smiley packs

The worst part is, I had it all done and then we changed web hosts plus my home server died... between the 2 of them I had everything I needed. Now it's all split between different backups lol.

Smiley pack, good idea! Plus I should fix the one that's on there atm... I think a few of them didn't copy over!

I'm just going to say keep up the good work, it's well appreciated the time and effort that goes in to maintaining and upgrading a forum. I think it's a good change so far.

Thanks
