Re: Forum Upgrade
No sir.
The reason I managed to get it done is I needed a solid 8 hour window to do the conversion. Monday's public holiday provided that
Now that the conversion has been done the rest can be done bit by bit each night

[quote="Turbocoupe75"]I'm just going to say keep up the good work, it's well appreciated the time and effort that goes in to maintaining and upgrading a forum. I think it's a good change so far.
Thanks[/quote]
My thoughts exactly! There is now a fast reply button, you guys rock. Can't wait to see how youtube links/embedding works, but that would involve me making another drift Gemini video (6+ months I'd say).
My only gripes would be - a darker colour scheme would be cool (like the grey one), and my inbox keeps getting full because I keep lots of stuff for reference. In fact, I wonder if it's possible to make tech and non-tech backgrounds or headings different to help distinguish, and make the "jump" really obvious for noobs?
This is great though, good work.

Re: Forum Upgrade
The smilies aren't on the quick reply, but should appear on the full editor? They do for me
All the posts that are having trouble quoting have the "Disable BBCode" box ticked, however I can see that you guys are not getting that option to be able to disable it. I think the same might be happening for smilies

Re: Forum Upgrade
I'm liking this youtube video embedding.
I also like that if you type something into the quick reply box, then decide you need the full editor, the text you typed comes up in the full editor. I wasn't expecting it to, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Also, the glass in the pixel cars is too dark for this background
Two different board or heading colours for the different sides would be alright I reckon. I think maybe someone should update the non-tech background with more current users cars, and have the background for the tech side have more and different Isuzu brochure pictures. Maybe a thread to compile these things into is in order, later down the track.archangel62 wrote:In fact, I wonder if it's possible to make tech and non-tech backgrounds or headings different to help distinguish, and make the "jump" really obvious for noobs
