my bad lol....was thinking of something else lol....and i think you have other issues like hitting the shock before a more positive offset reduces the track of the car :lol:

You are right there, Too much positive offset and the tyres hit the shocks.

ok for example. 17x7.0? approx mac offset. or 17x7.5?

At full extension a 17 x7 with a +40 offset will hit the shock badly. So maximum offset with 17 x 7 would be about +35 and +30 or +32 would be better but getting these offsets would be difficult without custom offset I am guessing.
