thats a great idea, the way you have
hidden the weber from the veiw of the cops

it makes the car look much more stock , so avoids annoying questions
from the cops, great work!

It is illigal to drive a car that is unroadworthy. Hence you will get a canary and probably a fine and loose demerit points i would amagine.

well, bottom line, the car was legal in its factory condition, so any mods would deem it not roadworthy, but that is pathetic, which means every one out there who has bought mags to replace there standard rims is illegal. friggin stupid IMO!

yeah mate such is life. but oh well just do it and enjoy it till u get done then sigh and take it off again. thats wat everyone else does.

i agree with you Buggzy, its just a pain when the mods you do aren't unsafe, just not "legal" in the eyes of the law, thats why im trying to go for permits so i can stik it to the cops when they pull me up.

good luck getting a permit to use a weber carby?? they dont meet epa requirements so thes no way you can use one legally.

i cant find a place to attach a spring for the throttle bracket to recoil...

if you put the weber on and tune it then you hould be getting more fuel. therefore you can bump up the timing a bit more advanced. if its backfireing out the top of the carby chances are its over- retarded timing.
