It's looking like most are wanting a mountain cruise which is fine by me as well, BUT the one thing needed along the cruise route is servo's for the rotors. I know I need to fill the tank every 140km's, as will Daniel (J_PortGemini) and Toddy (06EMY). So keep this in mind when planning.

Jeff had hit the nail on the head here. I could rant on about this, coz I'm in a foul mood, but I'm just going to leave it.
It's obvious it's a mountain cruise, when and where, that's up to you, HAVE YOUR SAY.....

My input, happy for any date, happy to help with jerry cans, i have a 20L plastic and a @5L one if anyone would like to pay to fill them up ill bring them. Jeff you know smoking bad for your health, unless you mean your tyres LOL....

down for waht ever date but that weekend the weekend before all after will be in sydney from 27th to the 30th of nov i jnow it is hard cause someone has always something on but thought i will put that there

Well considering you are only one of a handful of people that has made an input into this cruise Daniel, I'm going to say that the 28th/29th of November is a no go.

All I can say about a date is that we need at least a month's notice to spend the the word.

well why not the 1st weekend of december, the 5th or 6th. That gives everyone, time to finish their cars, and also plenty of time to get the word out.

im in for the 5th of december, 06emy should map out a route through the mountains, i reckon most will be keen no matter where it goes coz majority have voted mountains.

Some people on here were saying a mount glorious run, up to somerset dam, from samford village to the dam is 67klms and a 55 minute drive to there can have lunch up there do what ever for a few hours then could head of upto kilcoy which is 27 klms 24 minutes all something like that just a sugestion for you all i just did a trip on whereis to have a look i know there is a fuel stop at samford and there has to be a fuel stop in somerset just hope that it is open on saturday lol
