Turbocoupe75- Becsuse Race Car- the trials and tribulations

Post by Turbocoupe75 »

Ok so f*#k you photo bucket, I'm starting again.

Knocked up a heat shield out of aluminium plate, will cover it later with some composite aluminium shielding, I give me a 4/10 for workmanship but time constraints means quality and perfectionism = zero and she'll be right is good enough for now !!!

Whatd you use to make the spacers, phenolic?

Injectors like i said in the other thread - GTR RB26 injectors drop straight into those rails and are 440cc. I think from memory Toyota 7MGTE were also the same size and dimension but dont quote me on that one.

The spacers made from nylon sort of compound??are just a temporary to get the height right for the barrel cooler until i make them out of aluminium or get some laser cut. The idea is then to use them to make a rear facing plenum and a larger water air cooler with a larger turbo later.

RB26 injectors would probably be the easiest to get hold of but are pricey new!! these ones are 600ish on ebay.
