1978 Gemini TD/TX Sedan Gold Coast $5100

Post by geminilover3236 »

This is a car with character and a much loved one at that, unfortunately it is time for it to go to a new owner so it can continue on. I have personally put a lot of work and effort into getting it to the state it is in today. That includes engine, driveline and suspension. I set the car up as a daily driven weekender. The engine setup is proven and the tune is safe, setup to run on 98 octane, however if you reduce the timing a few degrees, you could run on regular. (I can do this for you)

Contact Details:

- Torana Radiator
- 12V Electronic Ignition
- 2" Exhaust system fed by 4-2-1 extractors
- Oil catch can with recycle into carby to meet emissions standards. (red can in photo)

It's a combination of the lowest lovells in the front you can get and the lowest pedders you can get in the rear.
They are then chopped a couple coils (there abouts) and the bump stops in the front are smaller ones as well to allow travel.
Being the later model "squishy" bump stops, you still have quite a bit of travel after you hit them.
All in all its setup so that there is just enough travel and tyres don't touch guards ever.

Definitely one of my favorite Gems. Wheel and low combination is spot on.

They square measure then sliced some coils (there abouts) and therefore the bump stops within the front are smaller ones yet to permit travel.
Being the later model "squishy" bump stops, you continue to have quite little bit of travel once you hit them...

I take it you are the guy who txt me.

There suspension travel in the front is about 10mm before bump stops and maybe a few more mm of compression on the bump stops.
Rear suspension travel is probably about 15mm all up. Also being the latter model "squishy" bump stops as opposed to the hard bump stops (which you will know about when you hit them)
Every modifications to the suspension has been done to ensure that wheels do not touch the guards at any stage.
And as mentioned, I am more than happy to fit standard height springs.
