EOI Door seals, boot seals, Bailey Channel.

Post by INEEDSPETTY »

Just thought I'd see if anybody would be interested in these items.

One of my close friends parents own a rubber/plastic/pinchwelding factory and I sourced a full set of brand new door seals for around $110. Can also get baily channel really cheap. The more I buy in one lot the cheaper it would be. anyone interested PM me.

Thinking of making an order of 1000m door seals and 500m of baily channel which would be enough for about 100 cars I think.

Exact prices, postage and payment details will be worked out if I get enough intrest.

It just seems that it will be alot cheaper than going through rare spares and heaps better value than buying semi-ratty wreckers items.

Cheers, Wilko.

But the the boot seals need to be the small type not the biger type that Clark Ruber sells. As the boots wont sit down proper.

Would the baily channel rubbers be joined into a one piece item or would it have a break?

All items will be exactly same types as originals and I will have to get all the measurements for sed/wag/coupe. As for baily channels (window "seals" forcexx) and ill have to talk to my mate but i'm sure it will be possible to have them pinch welded at the factory to custom length at a very minimal charge. All door and boot seals will be cut to approximate total length for the model gem requested and everything will probably be charged as "per meter" so if you only want one door seal you just pay for one plus post.

Still looking for a few more interested people..

I'll be discussing prices and quantitys with my friend in the coming week and i'll post up prices and take individual orders as soon as all the details are worked out.

If possible could some of you do the measurements of door seals, boot seals, bailey channels for wagon/coupe/sedan and confirm the measurement differences(if any) between tx/c/d/e/f/g??

Cheers, Wilko.

i would hope you make them slightly bigger then measurements that are given, as it would be very dissapointing to receive a seal that does not fit, and also to leave a bit of slack for if/when they shrink like the originals!
