1977 Opel Kadett bought a new 16v and another kadett :-)

Post by daddy's ride »

Hi, I am arnold and I live in Holland. I have a 1977 2 door Opel kadett sedan with a 2.4 ltr injection engine in it. The car has a 5 speed gearbox, 4 XL disc brakes, group A 63,5 mm rally exhaust, spaghetti manifold, special sports interior from a opel manta 400 rallycar, blinded windows, etc. Like to show you some photo’s, but haven’t got 10 posts (yet)
I am working as a procesoperator, and also as a fireman. Forgive me my bad English, but I am doing the best I can :D As soon as I get 10 posts, I will immediately post the pics

I want yours 1.8 turbo engine. Can't imagine that was a standard engine :D
I will replace this engine with a red top c20xe (is already waiting to get build in) with throttle bodies on it. But I am still thinking about the c20let, That's the red top with turbo. This turbo engine needs a little fine tuning, and then it's good for 280 bhp. That's the plan,it could take a few years!!!
First is getting through the winter without any damage. It's quit scary to drive when the roads are wet. It's luxuary problem :D

I spend 10 years restaurating a coupé, but never get to end the project. I sold the body, en the goodies I already restaurated will be placed on the sedan

Dude, that is beautiful. Did I meet you at Nurbergring August 2008? Or was that someone with an almost identical Kadett?
