Gemini Sprint
Started this a little while ago , now im getting stuck into it to have it finished for next years nationals
Cant really go into it too much , apart from it'll be green and should look awesome!

actually , its a custom mix. There is no clear in the engine bay. will be staying that way.

Started fitting the front flares , had to remove the original mounts as they werent compatible at all , makig up new bolts more suited to the body atm.

I have the brake upgrade bits , fuel flap hinges , this one and the V8 gem on the go atm, dont have time to stay specifically on one job.Jonno wrote:I agree. Do more to v8 gem.

Mounting brackets made , now to cut off the existing ones and set these up to be glassed on , on the weekend.
Might have made too many , but can always use them on my CDT

started prefitting the rear flare , its going to need a little support at the bottom of the rear section as the curve isnt right.
Hoping on the weekend to have the new mounts glassed onto all the flares so whe i get around to the passenger side it'll be a little quicker to fit them up.

Flares arent a very good fit. rear 1/4 has a bad twist in it , have to put 2 supports on the base to get it back into correct shape.
Sanding of the boot spoiler has shown me it came from a red sprint , which went white , then yellow. Its back to its original blue gelcoat now.
