That P-van is aweful! The Torry-Gem however looks in proportion. A couple of small changes like a nice set of Sprintmaster rims and remove the GTR decals and it'd be a sweet ride... :)

have to remember , that HT is from very early 90's , and summernats was all for crazy modifications...

Anyone remember buttercup? It was a statesman that had the body cut around the chassis and lowered 4 or 5 inches or something , still retained full suspension travel ( im guessing it bottomed out on bumpy roads ).

There's a white torana wagon over our side of the ditch based off an HC Vauxhall Viva Estate. Looks much better than the blue one in this thread. I shall raid photobucket account for pics.

that torana is a local car i have seen it in the flesh, very well made, pretty sure the owner came for a side cut a few years ago, old school bloke with a good talent for working metal

I'm probably mistaken, but wasn't it 'Baby Cup'? That green & white thing that had the roof chopped off that was in SM in the mid-90s?

that could be it , means i was at least close lol.

The cundy boys used to do alot of conversions , few gemini utes even ( i vaugly remember seeing one parked outside their shop years ago ).
