seriously though i have a post where elky himself has told me TDs have no EGR system, im relatively sure that ADR27a has differing standards between the years as well..

Some TC models also had an EGR system where they have a pipe connecting the exhaust manifold to a metering valve under the inlet manifold, that has to be there as well. im yet to see one with it, pretty sure it was elky who cleared it up for me in the past when my roadworthy guy failed the car beca...

ive seen barb8s in person a few times and the firewall is definitely cut for the motor to sit further back and shift the weight, also has a modified tunnel to comly with andra rules as well if im not mistaken.. doing an rb30 would be pointless and more hassle than its worth, plus they don't like get...

just get rims with a better offset, then the problem is solved, ive run 205s on a 13x6.5inch rim without any clearance issues, im currently running 195s on a 15x7 and they dont stick out of the gaurds either..

i dont think your problem was caused by, i do doubt its from having it serviced late, i havent even heard of run in oil straight out of the factory and if it has thrown a rod it was probably making a shitload of noise for quite a while leading up to it, so it wouldnt of just happened out of the blue..

there is a bit of a difference between a new factory built motor and a rebuilt motor..

the brand new motor should be fine going 5000k without an oil change, call mazda and ask them what their recommended service periods are from new..
