Yep, the 2 that are there are choke, the old carby solendoid looks like it can be screwed off and put onto the new carby, is it that simple? or do i need to change half the damn carby bits over to do so.
**update: tried to fit it, looks to be different size anyway. Damn shame its a good carby.

I recently replaced my carby again, while it is running excellent at the moment, when i come to an abrupt halt the car seems to want to choke and splutter for a moment before finding a comfy idle to sit at. The old carby i pulled off had 4 wires coming off that plugged into my loom, the NEW carby on...

i made it back home, im thinking the primary jet must be blocked, as the kilometers clocked up into the hundreds it gradually got better, i could floor it and the secondaries would open up and it purred away with ease. It still has a mild surge effect while ur holding a stable speed, ill get it sort...

It doesn't have any flat spots as well does it? Yes it does have some erratic flatspots, it now has all new plugs and leads too and no change. I will check that as I go again lok15, I'm tired, hungry and covered in soot, if anyone in the newcastle area has a nikki or bolt on weber that's 100% worki...

mine was doing this last week, ended up being a blocked fuel tank breather, as soon as i opened the cap there was heaps of vacume, so i pulled the line off the tank to the breather as a temp fix and it hasnt done it since! Just tried taking a run with fuel cap off to same effect :/ It's got me stuf...

cutting out as in loss of ignition? Coupe cutting out when turning left
Yay I'm back in the Gemini world, and naturally have car issues heheh, the fuel tank is full, pump is checked and working, but even a slight XOR Ed to the left will make it cut out and surge, running a Nikki carby. I'm in Sydney at the moment if anyone wants to have a crack at it

Installing solex bootlock into tx sedan
having never changed locks to solex before, im unsure of tricks to doing it, my fiance currently has no bootlock, but has the old bootlock, and a solex facelock to change over too it, but im baffled as to how to set it all up.
