Thats the way I did it when I did my clutch the other week, but it was just a nut, not a bolt ha. But what I did was had my mate holding a ring spanner on the box side and I had a short ratchet spanner, ring end on and it works just like a ratchet. Don't have an engine crane, and I've already jacked the car up, changed a clutch this way last week, it's not that hard.

auto to manual question

hey there im in the process of converting my gemini from auto to manual, ive undone all the bolts on the engine but i cant get the starter motor bolt as the transmission dipstick tube is in the way. how do i get this off?
also im doing the conversion with the engine still in the car

hey there, the new project i bought is a TF gemini, but had no grill, headlights, bumper etc front end stuff, so i bought a TE grill for it as i like it better how would i go at wiring up so the TE parker location is the indicators, as the plugs are different.. and i need indicators that are visible...

it is a PBR clutch i read all those posts, dont like the idea of putting spacers between the pressure plate and flywheel as that pulls the pressure plate away from the flywheel and allow it to slip easier when gearbox was fully bolted up, you could pull the clutch lever, right forward as far as it w...

4speed clutch different to 5speed?

is there a difference between a 4 sp clutch and a 5sp? just wondering because i bought a clutch kit from repco last week, and it doesnt work, the clutch doesnt engage properly and isnt hitting the pressure plate when fully engaged..
