Re: Wrecker Part list for EFI

I reckon it would be cheaper in the long run to buy an aftermarket ecu.
I picked up my late model sm4 for 800 bucks with a full loom.
By the time you mess around with a Delco you would have spent that anyway.
Then you can use what ever sensors you want as well.

G200z dipstick length

Hey guys I need a length for a standard g200z dipstick. If you don't know the g161 dipsticks are a fair bit longer and won't fit in the g200z tube. I used the g200 sump for the extra capacity and now need to shorten a 161 dipstick to suit as they are rare as hens teeth. If anyone has or knows of som...

Re: rockers and shafts

If you want to run swivel feet you need steel rocker arms and they need to be modified. That's for a g series though. Usually we just feel the wear between the shaft and rocker arm, it's very obvious if they are worn you will see it on the shafts and can measure the amount of wear between where the ...

Re: Crow Cam Issues

Good stuff.
I will see how mine goes, I have been using crow cams for 14 years and haven't had one fail yet, but we only ever bought new shafts, regrinds only when they didn't have an option.

Re: Crow Cam Issues

Revitalising an old thread, the machine shop has had quite a few engines come in with massive cam and valve train wear. Running the same brand of oil that a couple of you are speaking of.
I usually use it too, even in my Silverado but im going back to castrol

Re: G200z Main studs

No just tapped the holes to the bottom. The threads are about 10mm ish short of the bottom of the hole. So drop the thread down and recessed the thread so the studs screws all the way in. This only works if your running a girdle or you would need shorter studs

Re: G200z Main studs

Sorry I posted it on another thread.
I used the same studs as you use in the head rb26dett studs. I plunged the thread all the way down and recessed the thread down 8mm. Sent you a pic nick, sump needs mods but it all works
