My engineer was not keen on it, along with a few others I have talked to. The setup described in the first post changes absolutely nothing in terms of mounting and geometry...

Lot's of members on these forums have gemracing engines (including myself ). Fast... his engines have been proven to run the numbers, just let him know what you want and he'll build it for you.

A VTEC engine in a Gem would be very unique... just make sure you have the funds to back this up including the engineers certificate.

im looking for a g200z atm, and im going 2 do the rebuild at my work replacing everything i can using performance parts. my problem is that i cant find any perfomance parts for the engine other then just carbyz, wer can i get things like pistons,camsahft, heavy valvesprings, large valves, ect... bt...

Why would you want to cut off the yolk?

Just use a whole different tailshaft and mate it up.
