Defiantly have more interest in the standard Petrol Gemini housing idea. This sounds much more practical and would probably work out cheaper aswell.

It's very touch and go as to whether an engineer will certify the McDonald bro's kit. Like you say, some have had it approved. My engineer was not keen on it, along with a few others I have talked to. The setup described in the first post changes absolutely nothing in terms of mounting and geometry...

Dont mean to rain on anyones parade, but what exactly is wrong with the McDonalds bros setup? If you mean to tell me it cant be engineered im going to call bulls*#t because i know of a car that just got certified. Why would you want to cut off the yolk?

Just use a whole different tailshaft and mate it up.
