cheers for that info, very helpful. I dont know a great deal about efi and ecu stuff, more reading i shall go. and a factory looking instal is definatly appealing.

The motor is stock as far as i know, but will be rebuilding, ie rings pistons etc, and hope to source these elusive motor bike bearings that apparently fit with a lil' machinig for the cams, open to suggestions in that too. the car will mainly be a street cruiser but will be keen to go to drags/tra...

Hey, figured this is na safe place to ask sum questions..... I am in the process of putting a twin cam in the gem, but ar very much considering pissing of the standard ecu stuff and injectors (old factory ones) and upgrade and replace. so I guess i wanna know whats the go with the injection manifold...

buy the gemini manual, will be the best $$ you spend. check out second hand book shops, should be around $20 to 30 or $50ish new.

well youd be looking at around $50an hour, keep in mind that they need to remove door trim, drill holes, run the cables, mount the solinoids, re-install door trims. thats time consuming, say an hour on each door, theres 200 just for that. then again, need door pins (switches)on all doors, boot, bone...

few probs there...... id say lower control arm, upper control arm bushes, may as well do ball joints/tie rod ends while your there, as for the shaking under brake, id bet that your brake rotors are either warped and or getting rather thin too, also may be in need of a wheel alignment. replace brake ...

*NOTE* You are aware that TF's TG's came with a mechanical fuel pump, so if your going to the TX TE type electric in tank pump there will be sum probs as there is no wirring allocation for this

reverse lights on because your gearbox switch is around wrong way, change it over with other two wires on gearbox,

the excess smoke......when you built the motor im guessing you used alot of oil to put it together, so that would just be it burning off, just like when doing a "wet test" on compression.

and let it run up to temp, dont be a blouse elly..... :lol:
