Re: sr20 or r33 gearbox?
I have a SR box in mine. To use a SR20 with RB gear box they modify the bell housing of SR box to convert it to suit the RB box.
I have a TG and there was enogh room. im of the understanding the RB is similar size. They are much stronger and you would probably never blow it in a gem.

4) Position the aftermarket tacho face on the original tacho as per image and stick it down with tape. This needs to be accurate as it will be the mounting point of the aftermarket body. 20150630_212515.jpg 5) Drill the holes with care. 20150630_213021.jpg 6) Find suitable screws to attach aftermark...

DIY Tacho Transplant for ECU, keeping Your Original Dash
*login required to view pictures* Hello, here is a new 5v Tacho body on the face of my old original 12v Tacho. This was completed due to having a SR20det in a Holden Gemini. The original Gemini tacho runs from a distributor 12v pulse the SR20det only has a ECU signal of 5v hence the requirement of t...

Re: Master Cylinder - Brake Upgrade
I used to have commodore front clippers (vn small) and standard drums. I found the standard master cylinder and booster fine with that set up. sorry to ask and I will also try and google but what size is the stock master? Due to limited space in my engine bay I had to use a Datsun booster as they a...

Muffler for SR20 or Turbo Gem
Hi All,
I have a very quiet muffler on my sr20 gem. I am wanting to change it although have it remain very subtle (ie no chrome cannon).
Any suggestions to get that growl and still have it tidy with a small tail pipe?
What are other turbo/ sr gems running?
Cheers,

There wont be a colour code as such, you will just have to find something close on a colour chip, unfortunatly it is too small to scan as you need something flat and the size of a credit card and i wasnt aware that supercheap have a scaner? But it depends on what paint brand they have Thanks mate, ...
