The real cam bearings are available still.

Just so I don't pollute this fine establishment with my drivel and banter I'll link to a much finer site where info on the alleged 'real' bearings can be found... http://poida.x10hosting.com/twincam/vie ... ?f=1&t=582

Try 7000rpm at 128mph on those tyres in 4th gear with stock rear axle ratios!

with all else the same, a 4.88 diff will see you doing 4700rpm at 110km/h and 4300 at 100km/h. You'd need to be doing 8800rpm to hit 128mph

Ya think so?? I'm keen to try tractor rims on it... well, maybe 26" Kenworth rims. Some people just have no sense of what looks proportionally correct. Try basing your wheel size according to the original tyre overall diameter. Legally it has to be close to that diameter. Lets use a 175/75-13 a...

It's really important that you take the time to do some research before you plan on doing things to any car. Lots of mods discussed don;t comply with ADR specs or roadworthy specs. What's the point of doing things that don't comply? Window tint for example: on passenger vehicles there are limits to ...

NSW allows fitting of a replacement engine no greater than 15% above the manufacturers largest optional engine available for the vehicle. I think you'd be splitting hairs trying to use the diesel engine as a reference for a car that was not originally diesel. So, the G161Z is 1584cc plus 15% comes t...
