I can not get reverse no matter what I do.

Everything else works fine just reverse crunches like s*#t!

I can't see how its a clutch issue if it selects other gears fine and only reverse has issues.

I had one which was with the motor and a spare i picked up from a member on this site.

Both are now cracked.

Most Alarm / Stereo installers do them for about $150 each.

Saves you alot of hassle and you get a warranty to!

I think I found the problem

Some one left a washer on one of the studs behind the gasket, that would make un even and possibly make it crack I suppose.

Yer thats the difference I have noticed is the gasket is the thick one and not the thin one

I have never used this type before and always used this type.

Head is fine as I had a manifold on there before and there where no issues.

Hey everyone.... Okay I have gone through two inlet manifolds in the last 24 hours. Nothing special to it, I put the inlet manifold on and bolted it up. On both occassions it started to split and crack the manifold right where the manifold is bolted to the head. Is this just old age or am I doing so...

I was looking at buying an inlet manifold and carby but it is has been stated it is pre pollution.

What is the difference in the pre pollution manifold and the normal manifold if anything??
