Don't believe the bulls#@t about the gearbox cross member.Bolt the 4zc1-t in with a gemini box. Turn gear box mount around 180 derees and do up bolts.As stated before, the difference is minimal. By turning the mount around it will accomadate the difference.No need to stuff with engine mounts or fire...

Can someone tell me the specs for setting the valve clearances on a4zc1-t please?Did a quick search and couldn't find them. I haven't done these before. Are they the same as a gemini petrol engine? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

I just have a welded on flat steel strap on my gem? Street use tho... Never had to rely on it but i presume it would work ok if it ever came down to it?

I think what is meant here is that mod plates are like road worthies.... you can get legit ones or you can get dodgy ones. Depends on who you know..... Get a legit one and you got no worries. You don't need to change gear box mounts! i dunno why every says this? You can just use the other holes/turn it round..... (can't remember which now) if you mount your engine coorectly.
