Im still trying to get my head around the auto with a clutch? The only closest thing ive ever seen to a clutch was in a hot rod (speed way car), it wasnt using a t400 but it was using an auto, locked one gear and driven directly from the motor by a dog clutch. It had to be started, then pushed to x ...

I agree Gemi coupe. I have thought of reducing the rod from the diafram to open the waste gate a little, that should reduce the base boost level but also cause other problems, like not reaching the higher psi and having a laggy spool up. 5psi would be accept able if thats all i can find out there. A...

I can easily turn it up but to reduce it needs another diaphram fitted. Does anyone know of a factory car that runs lower boost of around the 3-4 psi that ...

If none of that works, maybe run a dummy plenum e.g a 2ltr box hidden next to the motor and conected to all for breathers on your manafold, then connect the map sensor to the box via its own fitting. It should balance out your vacume signal.

Take the top off of your carbys, run the fuel pump (hot wire it if you have to) mark the fuel level by scratching the bowl, let it sit for a while and recheck the level, if it h as dropped, then that where your fuel is getting in. Adjust the level to just below the main jets and fannys your aunt.

you dont get vapour lock with carbys.

Is he running the factory air cleaner or something else? He might be freezing up the carby, depending how cold it is and how much driving he's doing.

I was always told that first of the 4 speeds were the strongest, the one with reverse on the left. Heard the boys prefer them for the coupe races up in QLD. Ive got one if you wanna buy it.

Ever had a problem with those non-clamp hose fittings on your fuel tank? I used a set on an oil line, was told not to use a clamp because it can damage the hose and you guessed it, it came off, clamped it and no problems after that.

What do you mean by the "castlemain" wiring diagram? Just grab a workshop manual for the v6, its a very easy motor to wire up.
