Re: TX exhaust manifold

Probably something else or someone has drilled and tapped the hole.
Have seen them in TX's and they had the EGR bit in the casting, but it wasn't drilled out.

Re: Tail shaft identification

It's definitely not auto because they're the extra fine spline and don't have a shroud.
Looks like a Japanese one, Holden didn't put shrouds on their yokes.
Diesel uses a Japanese diff, so probably right.

Re: Brake Fluid

Yeah it's silicone. You could run it if you'd just rebuilt everything and flushed all the lines out. One advantage is it doesn't wreck paint.

There's no way it's a real ZZ/R. The real coupe rear panel is nothing like a sedan one.

Re: wiring diagram

It's from the 1983 PF50/60 chassis manual, includes everything except the engine but I have the engine manual aswell. Both combined are about 1/4 the thickness of the Piazza manual  There's actually one on Ebay right now too http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HOLDEN-GEMINI-PF-SERIES-CHASSIS-GENUINE-FAC...

Re: gemini drop spindles (fiero)

The difference between Gemini and Piazza apart from the spindle is that on the Piazza the caliper itself is threaded, so it's got a machined surface where the Gemini doesn't, and unthreaded holes.

Re: gemini drop spindles (fiero)

Turns out they aren't functionally the same, here's a comparison between a Piazza (left) and Fiero, the caliper mount has different bolt spacing between the two.
