Put the whole hub in a freezer for couple of hours, take it out and heat the brake rotor gently with a gas torch.
It should pop off.

Description
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH. I can't stand it any longer. A torque tube is the TUBE inside which the DRIVESHAFT/TAILSHAFT rotates. There are three separate different threads of discussion going on here. 1. The rubber mount at the front of the TORQUE TUBE. Couple of different ones depending on model and/or pe...

G'day. No stuff that!!!!!! That is as weak as. Lets be a little serious about this. If you are reinforcing a drive/tail shaft that is what it is, not a torque tube. If you go to an engineering shop your credibility will be NIL if you give the man a drive/tail shaft and ask him to reinforce your TORQ...

G'day... Agreed...A tail shaft is also a drive shaft. Actually the shaft from the gearbox to the torque tube is also a drive/tailshaft. The'kin TORQUE TUBE is the TUBE, either alloy or steel {...DOOH!!!}, that the tail/driveshaft runs inside. The torque from a launch is transmitted onto the floor of...

G'day. The Rodeo one needs a plate under it to clear the gearbox at the back end. The Piazza one I have has a hinge like movement so does not have that problem but looks much longer. I haven't dropped the other gearbox yet to check. The holes in the Rodeo shifter need to be enlarged slightly but the...

G'day..Fitting the Rodeo shifter involves cutting the transmission tunnel hole back towards the rear of the car and the Piazza one is even longer. There is a post on the site about shortening the Piazza one to Rodeo length. I am, in November, going to do it so will post story and pics when finished....

Holy snappin' ducksh_t Buckna. That is the ugliest repair job I have ever seen. There is a company called Qld Rollers and Liners at Rocklea that remake the rubbers. Take the torque tube and the mount off the car to them and they will do it in a few days for about $140.00. I have one in Rally Gem and...

G'day... I know one thing. If your brakes are that sad...Seriously DO NOT ask for info from this site!!!! GO TO a brake and clutch specialist and get them to fix the brakes. It will cost you but it is better than cleaning up someone in a Rolls Royce on your way to the shop!!! You cannot use ...
