Re: For all the guys who are still here

Ah many years since I have touched a Gemini. I was just thinking though that a ford 8.8 diff might be a good option for the gemini as you can bolt a plate on the front of the pinion for the 3rd link..

Just thought I would say this...

Go buy a bmw e30 325i coupe, thats what I did, it will beat any 5.0L or v6 commodore. The gemini will feel like a model t ford compared to the bmw.

Gemracing runs a standard diff? what did he have it all shotpeened and cryogenically treated?

We have broken about 15 axles, but only one broke in a straight line, when I dropped it in 3rd with semi slicks.

You don't have to run one, as long as your not into doing 100 donuts with a nearly empty tank.

I run one in the turbo gem, just to reduce the changes of it running lean if its low on fuel and happens to go around in circles multiple times.... ahem..

300hp? must be an old pos if thats all it has, wouldnt you just use a gen3 instead? bbc and sbc water pumps are different, unless your going to modify the bbc and are rich I would go a gen3.

For the cost of my bbc brodix heads I could have bought a complete gen3 conversion.
