Buckna: I'm in New Zealand, so shipping a radiator probably isn't the best idea AND I wish myself luck trying to find a Torana 3-core one, I think i've seen about 1 LJ Torana in my life.

Looks like i'm going to have to get some longer water feed hoses then!

I will fix that problem, but the way that I've got it set up at the moment wouldn't cause my over heating problem tho, would it?

Yeah, they are coming off of the same hose. I will have a look tomorrow and try and sort out which hose should be going where.

How do I know which is the feed and which is the return on the turbo?
And is the water in the heater hoses flowing towards the inlet manifold or away?

Cheers

Here is the pic of how my turbo water lines have been done. The Green is the heater hose, coming from the intake manifold and going into the firewall. As you can see I have bypassed the heater swtich. The Pink line are the two water lines. As you can see they are just tee'd in line in the heater hos...

Yeah, will rewire the fan bro.

Poida: I'll get that pic of the turbo water hoses tomorrow morning. And yeah, I'm running an electric fan (as above) 12". I swear it was better with the engine fan tho, strangely enough...

It's definately not the gauge, you can barely open the bonnet its soo hot in there. I'll post a picture of how I've done the turbo lines soon and someone who knows might be able to let me know if there is a problem with how I've plumbed it. I don't think it's the head gasket, we did the usual checks...

Argh, and i'm guessing I can't pull out the water pump with out pulling out the engine?

The timing has just been done, sitting on about 8 so should be ok with that.

Hey guys, This turbo setup is giving me endless problems, one of these being terrible temperatures. I have flushed the radiator/cooling system and installed a 12" electric fan but this dosent seem to do anything. I can't sit in traffic or anything, the temp gauge starts going up and dosent stop...

I changed the progressive jet from the 1mm one that was in there to a .6mm and that has made a little difference. Also think I have sourced a 32/32 carb which was used on the blow through lanice delta HF turbos, the guy at the the carb specialist says this is exactly what I need to get it running ri...

Hrm, this is a Ben Wight kit. It's how he set it up and I assumed he knew what he was doing... I dont think I can turn it down either as he modified an EFI unit and it has nothing on it which can be screwed or anything.

I'm running a Bosche fuel pump with a rising rate regulator keeping the pressure at 7psi above boost. I'm not sure what the actual fuel pressure is tho.

Blow through turbo bogging. (over fueled?) / carby choice...

Hey Guys, Some of you may know me from HotGemini, anyway, I'm having a bit of trouble with my blow through carb setup (32/36). (G161z, forgies, shortened rods, hd crank, turbo cam, T3 turbo, etc) When I floor the accellerator, the engine bogs down off boost and stutters untill the boost comes on, th...
