new rims
hey this is gonna sound stupid but i just got some roh 17x7 rims for my tf gemini an its droped bout 3 inchs will i have any dramas getting them on? cheers

Nope, you MUST have rubber, the rims chop the road up a bit much as well as making lots of sparks. You'd look like Madonna doing a live stage show...sus gem 91 wrote:also is it legal?
Seriously, lowered 3 inches (from an already sagged original height Gemini) is going to be too low. For reference purposes, King Spring 'lows' will be legal, super lows won't be legal. Any cut spring is illegal. The measure in most states is made by comparing the distance between the tip of the bump stop rubber and the point of the suspension it contacts when the car is in static position on flat ground. You can reduce that original factory distance by 1/3. You can't cut the bump stop rubber to increase the distance.

Not legally. For the exercise, the OEM bump stop rubbers are being used as a reference point to measure height. Shortening the bump stop rubber is like moving the reference point, so it no longer applies.zep wrote:Can you replace them with "universal" (super low) bumpstops?
