I had really bad surge When I drifted my Gem. Then I put a 2L surge tank in it and a bigger fuel pump and never had a problem since.
I've joined the dark side.......... Toyota AE86.
Also bought my Gem back... awwwww shieeeetttt

iv tried a surge tank and 4 differnt pumps . no good

1 more thing i can suggest , drill out the seat , which means resetting the needle and float levels. This will allow more fuel to flow into carby , might be all it needs to flow some more fuel in. What psi you pumping into carbs atm?

iv tried 2psi and 5psi and everywhere inbetween.
the needle and seats are 200's, so no need to make them any bigger.

i have a ca18det in my te gemini and have never got fuel surge and i havent got a surge tank so i dont think one of them will help u really

yeah sure do aha i also had a gemini with a 253 in it as a burnout car and that never got fuel surge when cutting loops or anything
