Spring rates?..

Post by MONKEYMAN »

Hey guys.
I'm in the middle of ordering all the suspension goodies for my te, 4ze1 turbo.
I'll be wanting to do some track days, bit of drift and hill climb events. What sort of spring rates and heights are you running?
And also, what sort of camber/caster do you have dialled in?
At the moment I've got 195/50 15s.
I'm not really worried about how nice it drives on the street, just how good I can get it going around corners.

I've got 450lbs in the front and 250lb in the rear. It's not too bad. I've been advised to go higher by an older friend who races Chevettes though. He has 900lbs or 1000lbs in the front of his race car and it rides much nicer than mine - it really comes down to the match between spring rate and shocks. He has custom Konis and he car feels like a daily driver, I have Tokicos and Munroes and my car is hard as s*#t.
