Bellet DOHC Dizzy

Hello,

I bought this about 30 years ago for a Twin Cam install. It is a Hitachi with points. Now I know the mounting plate has has a different radius groove, I can make another but other than that will it fit and work ? In a modernish engine such as a 2 liter DOHC ? I tried to join the DOHC Forum, but no luck. I am sure there are people here that will know.

Thanks for the reply, I still have a cardboard template in my Car for you. ( weber mount ) The Japs tend to make things so they dont fit other stuff for emission and other reasons. If I make another mount plate it will fit and I still have the original. There are breaker-less conversions that can be fitted. I like the sound of good Carbs, and a normal Dizzy can be converted back to points on the side of the road. No other electronics to go bad.

Put it to the side. Or give it to Sam. I think he's keen for a fishing trip. I got 347785357 3475345 349 other things to worry about at the moment than the twincam unfortunately.

Get the dimensions sorted and get a bit of billet machined up. I think there's a shop in Hume that does that sorta stuff?
Realsteel? Pricey but I'm led to believe they do a good job?
