Guys, What radiator is a bolt in for a TD with the hose fittings reversed, so the opposite of the 1.6
What are people using for there SR and G180W conversions. Will a diesel gem radiator fit a TD.
Appreciate any help.
Radiator with opposite hose fittings
Re: Radiator with opposite hose fittings
Most times - just take exiting rad to radiator mod and get them to swap over the outlets...
With my sr, I had all sorts of special angled fittings made up to suit my install - it is not normally that simple.
G180W will be somewhat easier as it is likely to be a bolt in swap - but check with Elky - I suspect that diesel would be the go in this instance.

Thanks for the reply.
I was about to get the in/outlets swapped but thought about a replacement instead.
Sent a PM to Elky a few weeks back, no reply as yet.
Phil.

Diesel Gem radiator hits the front lower radiator support in an early model TX TC TD
.
I used a standard radiator for my G200w with a Commodore V6 radiator hose instead of swapping the outlets

Hey Phil,
When I had the DOHC in mine I ran an unmodified Gemini radiator with I *think* [memory is hazy] lower radiator hose from a Toyota Camry SV10/11 with a minor trim. Was definately a 2S-powered SV10 Camry - ex girlfriend had one which is where i worked out the hose would work, just cant remember if it was upper or lower. See pic.

Thanks guys,
It's a shame the diesel rad won't fit the TD as I need both outlets changed.
Will look into some Kingswood and Torana radiators.

Re: Radiator with opposite hose fittings
I think I had a torana radiator in my donor car. It's outlets where on the opposite sides.
