I run a early 6cyl commodore lsd in my club car. Only because a CIG locker is too nasty on the road. When I'm not using the car to commute to work, it is flogged at club events. I play entirely on dirt, yet the LSD requires frequent repacking to maintain the 90lb load. Being a cone type LSD, preload remains static at 90lb. Given it doesnt tank slap like an open diff. In motokanas, it will still spin the inside wheel off the flag.
If your drifting, circuit racing or dragging and have upped the power output, dont waste your time with this type of LSD.

Though just a newbie I'm learning fast, if it's any help here's what I've found so far;
the banjo lsd is the same as the Gem and early Commo, the banjo ones
were mostly coarse spline and the fine spline ones ( Torana ) are the same as the Commodore splines. They will not match Gemini without
being shortened and resplined.
There was a lsd for rally use in the Gem but, are long gone, so too the
R&P sets which were ( so I'm told ) 4.56:1 and 5.11:1 ratios.
The bible for the small Salisbury is the GMH manual - "Manual Transmissions and Rear Axles " dated June 1981 carrying part number
M38586 , Isbn number is 0 86836 184 4
The lsd itself is quite durable in racing ( both raod course and drag )
but must be regilarly looked at. Pre-load should be set high in the region of 90 to 110 ft/lbs and the use of mineral oil of very high quality such as
Castrol LSX 90 in combination with a friction modifier GMH part number
1052358 ( this is the one as used in the late Rodeo's etc., the part no.
dates back to the late '60's ) but, use only half of the f/modifier as it can
turn the lsd into a one wheeler if any more than that is used !
200 to 230 HP at the wheels seems to be the upper power limit so,
no turbo's or other power adders can be used wth this diff.
The Commodore axles are too long for the Gem but , LJ torana and
the 6 cyl Chrysler Centura are the correct length if you can find them !
You can fit other main gears to the small Salisbury but it is not cheap.
This "unfinished project" I've just acquired came with 3 complete diffs
with ratios of 4.44:1 , 4.77:1 and 5.125:1 though with the numbers ground off the ring gear it is difficult to know what the donor car was.
The guy had also had the torque tube drive shaft front bearing solid
mounted in a machined sleeve to get around the drive shaft wind up problem.
Hoping this helps fellas.
Cheers

You can use 25 spline lsd springs in it, but the spring plates inside will eventually break, Like mine did, but yeah was way better with 25 spline lsd springs in it.
