Alloy raditor off ebay

Anyone used one of these fairly cheap alloy raditiors off ebay there like $170-$250 all differnt ones just wanting to know if any are better then a standard one ?

They are but I've noticed recently that the quality is progressively getting worse. I honestly think they are a bit hit and miss.

I've been through 2 (one was a replacement) and the weld cracked and leaks all the time.

I was talking to a mate of mine who bought one and said his did the same and they didn't want to replace it

"1 year warranty on manufacturing defect"

stick 2 the copper and brass ones they last and r more reliable and can easily b fixed/repaired 4 the same price as these r new, where as the alloy ones cant b repaired at all.

Mark got his blocked - f*#cked now . Cant take tanks off and rod it clean . Like a normal radiator service /flush . CHuck it out

PWR ones are the olny decent ones i know but there like 800+ :(

Ive put a few ebay ones in cars,inc mine and so far they are a good thing........

This is the one I use,some come welded good and some are average,its a hit and miss thing,if you fit a few thermo's to it it will also help...

The most recent one I fitted was to a 10 sec TX coupe,which ran an auto trans,even on a 37c day the car don't get hotter than normal...It sits on about 78-80c......

mine is fine, had it for 2+ years. By the sounds of it they are either getting worse with their welding or quality control isn't overly high...

Mines fine although I did cut the counts off and weld them back on further back to sit the radiator further forward. The mounting position they have isn't great they sit back to far.
