Hey guys just wondering if anyone has done a tech on a gearbox seal chancre? And info on how to do it would be great

Remove tailshaft. Big screwdriver to remove old seal , grease on inside part of seal that contacts tailshaft , gently tap in evenly with hammer , refit tailshaft.
Getting too old for this s*#t!!

... the emphasis is on "gently". Tap around the outside edges away from the rubber.

There shouldn't be any oil in there. Thus no seal.
I'd say your problem is rear main seal in the engine.

Yeah probably rear main I'm not really familiar with these motor but leaking the same spot a commodore does when the rear mains gone... Hard to do on a Gemini? Motor out or just drop the box off?

easier to take motor and box out as one and do on the floor
